Philly SHRM held its 9th Annual Symposium on September 24 & 25, 2020. In response to COVID-19 restrictions, we held our first ever LIVE virtual event. We had over 400 attendees join us for some amazing presentations from incredible speakers – all live, either from their homes or in our studio.
The event covered topics such as The Employee Life Cycle, Mindfulness, Diverse Thinking, Reimagining HR in the wake of COVID-19, Human Capital Analytics, Empathetic Leadership, Race, Racism and HR and much more!
Here’s what some of our attendees had to say about the event:
“The entire Symposium was just amazing. You felt like you were there and engaged with others. Bonus points for the great music between sessions.”
“Amazing platform. Loved the high-quality videos. I appreciated that the more “popular” sessions were with the speaker “in studio.”
“I felt the same energy as in person, yet more focused as it was more intimate.”
“Great job on the pivot and providing the same great and intense Symposium that we are used to even though it was virtual.”
Thank you to all of our speakers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to share their knowledge with us. Thank you to our very generous sponsors for their support of the 2020 Symposium; without them none of this would have been possible. Thank you to the board and committee members as well as all our attendees for making the pivot to a virtual event so very successful.
