2014 Symposium
We are pleased to announce that the 2014 Philly SHRM Symposium was a tremendous success! If you were among the more than 385 human resources colleagues who attended from around our region, we thank you for helping us make this year’s two-day event so memorable. To recap, we were thrilled to feature:
A dynamic keynote presentation by Steve Forbes, highlighting the parallels between great business leaders of the ancient world and today. Steve was introduced by Mayor Michael Nutter, and he preceded his speech with an intimate meet-and-greet and followed it with a private question and answer session.
A fascinating Pre-Conference speech by Myron Rolle, Rhodes Scholar, philanthropist, athlete and aspiring neurosurgeon, followed by a lively question and answer session.
An inspiring closing session delivered by Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, President of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation.
The announcement of PSMRM’s partnership with the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. Their World Class Greater Philadelphia initiative will leverage the power of our region’s business, nonprofit, government, philanthropic, and community leaders for lasting regional impact in education and talent development, business growth, and infrastructure. We’re excited to collaborate with them to help improve education and talent outcomes, boost business growth, and make our region’s infrastructure more efficient and reliable.
