2012 Symposium

The Philadelphia Society for Human Resource Management (PSHRM) – a professional association for human resource practitioners, educators and students across the Greater Philadelphia region – held its inaugural Philly SHRM Symposium on Friday, March 23rd, at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia. Keynote speaker, Stuart Crabb, Head of Learning and Development at Facebook, gave his presentation “What it Means to be Social – The New Age of Employee Engagement,” to a sold out crowd and received an overwhelmingly positive response.

The Philly SHRM Symposium is a one-day educational conference focused on advancing the HR profession through both educational programs and personal connections. The 2012 Symposium offered 12 jam-packed, interactive sessions across four educational tracks: Leading the Talent, Analyzing the Data, Managing the Change and Engaging the Workforce. Speakers included leaders from Comcast, Vanguard, Independence Blue Cross, Microsoft and Campbell’s Soup Company among others.
